TL;DR

A clinician discount page is a personalized page where a licensed clinician (MD, DO, NP, PA, or RDN with a Master's degree) curates the health products they’d like to share with their own patients, and patients who buy from that page earn 15 or 30% in cash back -- paid directly to the patient by FrontrowMD, not the clinician. Patients simply buy the product wherever they'd normally buy it, then upload or email a receipt, and FrontrowMD pays the cash back straight to their PayPal or Venmo. The clinician receives no kickback and no compensation of any kind tied to purchases; their only involvement is choosing their unique selection of products and sharing their own unique link.

How a clinician discount page actually works

A clinician builds their own discounts page by picking the consumables, devices, and health apps they like best from FrontrowMD's vetted product library -- overseen by Medical Advisors, and by FrontrowMD's Chief Medical Officer, who screen, score, and approve or reject every product before it's eligible to appear there. FrontrowMD then generates the clinician a unique link they can  share with patients.

From there, it’s simple: a patient discovers a product on their clinician's page, buys it anywhere -- there's no special checkout or code required -- and uploads or emails FrontrowMD a receipt. FrontrowMD pays that patient 15% or 30% cash back directly to their PayPal or Venmo. None of that cash back is routed through the clinician, and the clinician earns no portion of it; all of the cash back goes to the patient.

Patients normally get 15% cash back on products from their clinician’s discounts page. When a clinician submits honest reviews after often receiving  a  free sample, cash back for their patients doubles (up to 30%+), if the clinician continues to choose to keep that product on their page

Why brands use this alongside other clinician trust signals

Think of FrontrowMD like customer ratings and reviews, but for health products, from medical experts. The clinician discount page is where that starts.
Once a FrontrowMD Medical Advisor reviews, approves, and clinicians in our network can choose to add it to their own personalized discounts page. They share that page with patients through a link or savings cards left out in their clinic. When a patient buys a product they discovered on a clinician's page, they upload their receipt and FrontrowMD pays them 15–30% cash back directly. Clinicians are never compensated. They aren't reselling anything, and they earn nothing when patients buy.

That's what makes this signal hard to manufacture. Clinicians are choosing to share a product with their own patients – the people they are ultimately responsible for. Each layer of FrontrowMD answers a different shopper question:

Clinicians' Choice Badge: "Do clinicians actually share this?"

The badge reflects the choices of many clinicians who've added your product to their discount pages. Shoppers can click through to see the clinicians that are sharing it.

Clinician Reviews: "Why would a clinician share this?"

A handful of clinicians individually receive a sample  and evaluate your specific product to submit a review / their expert assessment. This independent, unpaid evaluation  appears on your PDP.

ClinicianAI: "What does the research say about my question?"

It's a clinician-powered research assistant on your PDP, grounded in long-form Medical Advisor reports and clinician evaluations. The badge shows breadth, Reviews show depth, and ClinicianAI handles the follow-up questions that would otherwise send shoppers researching elsewhere off of your page. Brands use them together to maximize shopper confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How exactly do patients get their cash back?
Patients discover a product on their clinician's discounts page, buy it anywhere, then upload or email FrontrowMD their receipt. FrontrowMD pays 15 or 30% cash back directly to the patient's PayPal or Venmo -- there's no kickback to the clinician, and 100% of the cash back goes to the patient.
Do clinicians get paid or take a cut of the cash back?
No. Clinicians are never compensated for their discounts page. They're not reselling anything and receive no financial incentive tied to purchases; their only benefit is the free product samples they receive as part of the separate Reviews process.
Is a clinician discount page the same as a Clinicians' Choice badge?
Not exactly but they are connected. The badge reflects an aggregate sharing-preference signal across many clinicians on their discount pages; a discount page itself is an individual clinician's own curated list of products.
Which clinicians can create a discount page?
Currently MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and RDNs with a Master's degree. Pharmacists, RNs, and naturopathic doctors don't currently qualify as "clinicians" under FrontrowMD's official definition.
How long does it take to set up a discounts page?
About 15 mins. A clinician picks the consumables, devices, and health apps they want to share from FrontrowMD's product library, and FrontrowMD generates their unique link to share with patients. Every product in that library has already been screened and approved by Medical Advisors and the Chief Medical Officer, so clinicians choose from a ready-made list rather than vetting products themselves.
